#5 Las Vegas Raider sign Desean Jacksonhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u21YXqs3Scs
The Las Vegas Raiders picked up Desean Jackson on the waivers this week, adding a veteran presence to a team with a lot of youth at the wide receiver position. Jackson signed a one-year, $1 million deal with the Raiders and is hoping to help contribute to the team's already stacked air game. In fact, with weapons like Hunter Renfrow, Darren Waller, and Kenyan Drake, Jackson might have to share a lot of targets this season. He seems to be fine with that, though, and doesn't want the ball all the time.
"Unfortunate situation with Ruggs," said Jackson when asked about whether he was replacing Ruggs, "I'm kind of just, not saying filling that role, but just being that spark, what I've been able to do my whole career, you know a deep threat, verticle threat, and having the defense have to account for that. If it's being a decoy, opening it up for other guys, Waller, Hunter, whatever it is I need to do to provide a spark, that's what I'm here for."
